Business Training for Local Entrepreneurs
Project Launch: 2-1-17
Rural inhabitants of Makanani live in abject poverty despite operating many small businesses and agricultural ventures. One of the general responses to this situation has been to organize formal businesses and seek seed capital to scale up enterprises. This project proposes the facilitation of several business development workshops designed to prepare proprietors to submit small loan applications to Pride Malawi, a local credit-granting organization.
Final Report: 9-11-17
10 aspiring entrepreneurs attended the business training workshops to develop mastery of business fundamentals and operations, a necessity for proprietors seeking business loans or grants to scale up their existing enterprises.
