Crayons for Kids
Year: 2011
Country: Morocco
Project Status: Funded
Impact Sector: Education
Project Investment: $498.75
Project Launch:
With approximately 1500 residents, Taznakt is a small Moroccan village rich in Moroccan culture. In the preschool, shared workbooks and small individual chalkboards are the main teaching supplies. French and Arabic are the focus for education, as there is no time or money for "extras" like art instruction. With a $498 grant from World Connect's Kids to Kids Program, supplies were provided to the school to provide students with art lessons that could foster creativity and encourage students to think in a more abstract way about their lives and their futures.Explore other Projects
