Kitchen Equipment for Restaurant Sabores de Irazu
Project Launch:
In Irazú, Costa Rica, community members are receiving business trainings in preparation to open their restaurant “Sabores de Irazú,” or “Flavors of Irazú.” While the infrastructure (physical structure, running water, electricity, functioning bathrooms) of the restaurant is already in place, as well as some of the furniture (wooden tables, wooden chairs, decorations) already purchased, it still lacks essential equipment, such as a refrigerator.
This project will support the restaurant by providing a new refrigerator. Once opened, the restaurant will employ local women, helping to provide them with a stable income. In addition to serving food, the restaurant will host community events, such as fundraisers and additional trainings.
