Plaza Gutierrez Women's Entrepreneurial Collective / Colectivo Mujeres Emprendedoras de Plaza Gutiérrez
Project Launch: 1-31-24
Located in the Intag Valley cloud forest region, a group of ten women entrepreneurs are committed to the development of environmentally-friendly, income-generating activities to support themselves and their families. United under this shared vision of solidarity and environmental protection, this project will support the collective’s scaling from 5 to 10 members. The women’s small business activities include eco-tourism, river and waterfall protection and trails, permaculture activities, small animal husbandry, edible forests, and insect farming. With support, the group will create a sustainable model that will inspire and promote a healthier, more eco-conscious way of life for current and future generations.
