Todo El Mundo en Monte Redondo
Year: 2011
Country: El Salvador
Project Status: Funded
Impact Sector: Education
Project Investment: $139.05
Project Launch:
A $139 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids Program supported painting a world map on the new community center in Monte Redondo, El Salvador. The Center is located near the local school, which is also beautifully decorated with murals of environmental messages, maps and cartoons and fairytales, and many people pass both throughout the day. The murals serve not only to inspire and entertain kids in the school and those who use the community center, but give the members of the community a sense of pride as their community becomes more attractive. The school’s talented art teacher generously volunteered his services to help draw the murals with the kids and educate them about art in the process.Explore other Projects
