Project Launch:

The Amazing Race is a project designed and planned by the kids who will be the project's participants. The idea is to bring groups of kids from three different towns together to test their knowledge, perseverance and team spirit. Teams of kids will participate in a two-day race and will compete in challenges that test their knowledge of local wildlife and endangered species, personal health and development and Peruvian history and culture. All activities will be led by a group of energetic Peace Corps Volunteers and a group of equally energetic park rangers from the natural protected area Reserva Paisajistica Nor Yauyos Cochas.
