Our Network
World Connect's global network has developed over two decades of trust-based community development investment. Since 2018, we have been building power centers--locally-led development hubs staffed by regional experts who manage grantmaking operations and exemplify local ownership in development.
Our Network
Power Centers
To ensure sustained locally-led grantmaking, World Connect is supporting the growth of power centers in Malawi, Rwanda, New York City, and Guatemala. World Connect will continue grantmaking outside of these locally-led development hubs as well, to cultivate emerging funding networks.
Mudzi Connect
Our power center in Malawi has made over 300 community investments since 2018, 94% of which have achieved their project goals.
NYC Connect
Established in 2022 to test World Connect's grantmaking methodology in NYC.
World Connect Rwanda
World Connect began making grants in Rwanda in 2010, and World Connect Rwanda was established as a local NGO in 2022.
Guatemala Connect
Our newest power center, World Connect Guatemala was established in 2025.
