A $190 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids program in 2009 helped improve a community dispensary in El Salvador. Medical staff were given resources to better treat children and pregnant women in the community, provide security for their clinic and their supplies, and offer participatory lessons about nutrition and respiratory health to children and pregnant mothers. This project educated children and their parents about hygiene, nutrition and respiratory health in an interactive, engaging manner and provide the local clinic the tools needed to provide better ongoing care.Explore other Projects
