Construction of a community Water supply tank
Project Launch: 12-22-23
The project aims to address the critical issue of water scarcity in Kivomo Village, located in Nyamagabe District, Rwanda.
This rural community of approximately 1,400 residents faces severe water scarcity due to a distant and non-functional water source. The project's core objective is to construct a water storage tank within the community to provide a consistent source of clean water. The tank will be researvoir that will recieve and store water and distribute to the village residents through a pipe network. This will reduce travel time for fetching water from 2 hours to under 30 minutes for most of the village residents especially women and children who bear the burden of water collection.
