With this World Connect grant, Action for Sustainable Development (ASUD) will conduct massive civic education on COVID-19 prevention in the Nkhorongo Health Centre catchment area, Choma Health Centre catchment area, and part of the Ekwendeni community. Using qualified health personnel, they will disseminate messages on a Public Address system in a moving vehicle to make sure the messages reach out to as many people as possible. The organization will also support the health center with Personal Prevention Equipment and materials such as gloves, tap buckets, sanitizers, face masks, tablet soap, and plastic basins for individuals and health personnel at the health centre and during outreach clinics. The efforts are set to reach out to approximately 30,000 people in these areas.
