With this World Connect grant, the Teach for Tech community organization will procure 10 computers and train 50 children in information technology skills. The three month training program will include human capacity development, exposure to technological applications in a variety of fields, and digital skills mentoring. Students will learn Microsoft competencies to advanced skills in graphics design, web design, desktop publishing, and computer networking. In the long run, these children will have practical skills to apply to their careers and income generating endeavors.
