Health Center Pharmacy and Gazebo
Project Launch: 5-28-19
The Community Health Center in Tamarou, Benin, was established in 2009. They provide monthly disease prevention services, health education sessions, vaccinations, infant growth monitoring, malaria treatment, and sexual health and family planning. The health committee of the Community Health Center has been planning to build a gazebo and pharmacy for years. These additions will improve the quality of care, particularly for mothers and children under five. 2,500 people across 15 villages will have greater access to medical care and more affordable medication. World Connect is not fundraising for this project at the request of or on behalf of Peace Corps.
