About this Project

Immigrant Youth Empowerment Project will offer a new, community-based response for youth navigating immigration court. South Brooklyn Sanctuary will pilot and document a replicable, community-accountable model to support a cohort of youth who qualify for a pathway to citizenship by training volunteers, under the supervision of a contracted attorney, to guide ten youth through the process.
