Kaduna Digital Literacy Acceleration Project (KADILAP)
Project Launch: 12-23-22
Ungwan Boro is one of the many communities in Sabon tasha Local Government Area of Kaduna state, a densely populated area housing people from different parts of Kaduna. This community has very little government amenities and infrastructure. There are a few private schools and mainly government schools (which provide basic education for over 80% of the children in the community.) The major challange with the education sysytem is that the schools are not adequately furnished or equipped to provide students with basic education. In many of the schools they don't have a single computer system to expose them to digital literacy skills. This project will provide digital literacy education to not only girls, but all puipls (between the ages of 12-16) in the northern and southern parts of Kaduna. This project will ensure that every child in northern Nigeria has the opportunity to be digitally literate.
