Kaniga Schools Smart Rabbit Farms (KSSRF)

The Project will establish rabbit farms across 9 schools in Kaniga sector of Gicumbi district in the Northern province of Rwanda. rabbit shelters will be constructed at each of the 9 schools and 30 rabbits (25 female and 5 males) will be placed at each school's rabbit farm. Hydroponics technology will be used to grow fodder for feeding the rabbits. The schools expect to raise the rabbits, so that they give birth and multiply enough to support their school feeding program in providing nutritious meals to their students and keeping students in school.
