Project Launch:
A $555 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids program in 2009 provided supplies to support a phonics and physical education program in the Special Education classroom at St. Peter's Anglican School in Belize. The programming improved children’s attitudes regarding learning phonics and improved self-esteem in children who were able to learn to read from the new programming, which also included increased physical education activities.
