The Chinkanda Village Development Committee, in collaboration with Mudzi Connect, will construct a VIP toilet and a kitchen at the newly built Chinkanda Clinic. With a co-investment of $3,005.71, these essential facilities will support the full operationalization of the Health Surveillance Assistant (HSA) house. Once completed, the improved infrastructure will enable the clinic to operate more consistently, thereby increasing access to healthcare services for the surrounding community and allowing it to serve more people than ever before.
The Chinkanda Village Development Committee, with support from Mudzi Connect, is constructing a kitchen and toilet for the Health Surveillance Assistant (HSA) house at Chinkanda Clinic. The project aims to enable the HSA to reside on-site, improving access to health services for children and mothers while reducing delays caused by travel. To date, major works including construction, plastering, painting, and roofing of both the kitchen and toilet have been completed, with only minor finishing touches pending. The project has benefited from strong community engagement, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery within the clinic.
