Learning to Love Yourself, Inside & Ou
Project Launch:
The Western Samar Development Foundation (WESADEF) in the Philippines is a home for young girls, most of whom have been physically, mentally and sexually abused. WESADEF plans to host a three-day camp in the hope of cultivating life skills such as leadership, teamwork, self-esteem, communication and trust. Throughout the weekend, staff members will closely assess evidence of growth in self-esteem and leadership, and stress levels and will be used by WESADEF staff to improve the quality of services provided for the girls at the home.
