About this Project

Project Launch: 9-10-25

In response to rising financial constraints hindering students' education in Chipoka, Salima, Luso Langa, a community foundation from the area, mobilized $1,372.93 from within the community, equally matched by Mudzi Connect, to provide comprehensive educational assistance to 18 female and 12 male, totaling 30 needy students from Traditional Authority Ndindi for one academic year. The project aims to promote equal opportunities and academic excellence by funding tuition fees, providing essential learning materials, and offering free after-class remedial lessons. A community-based scholarship selection committee will oversee the application and selection process, using a hybrid model balancing academic merit, financial need, inclusiveness, and leadership qualities. Beneficiaries will also interact with role models to inspire and motivate them to pursue higher achievements and build leadership skills.
