Magic School Bus: Exploring Belize
Year: 2010
Country: Belize
Project Status: Funded
Impact Sector: Education
Project Investment: $500.00
Project Launch:
Santa Teresa School in Santa Teresa, Belize, does not have a school bus of its own so the only way that students can go on field trips is to charter a bus, which is, more often than not, an expense the school cannot cover. With a $500 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids Program in 2010, students were able to go on field trips to explore Belize, getting out of the classroom and enhancing learning through these educational trips. Before each trip, teachers introduced the relevant topics that the students would cover on the trips and students completed corresponding assignments after each trip.Explore other Projects
