Misongati Motor Transport Project
Project Launch:
Misongati residents identified having a balanced diet as their most pressing goal, and elected to achieve this via a motor-transport project. Participants will purchase four motorcycles - using a village grant of $8,000, which will also provide start-up capital for their village savings fund. A number of chosen individuals will be responsible for providing the transport. Income generated from this enterprise will go towards funding additional projects such as animal rearing and manure fertilizer projects. The goal of these projects will be to provide a number of additional income streams and ultimately allow families to afford a balanced diet.
