Building New Toilets at Ng'ozi Primary School

The community of Nathenje, Malawi, has identified a priority need to construct dedicated toilet facilities for 380 students and their teachers at Ng'ozi Primary School. With your investment of $7,500, the community will co-invest $5,900 to construct bathrooms with nine toilets, with accessibility features for students with disabilities and a dedicated changing room for female students to manage menstrual hygiene with dignity. By improving the sanitation facilities at the school, the community aims to reduce absenteeism among girls, strengthen disability inclusion, and lower health risks
