With your $5,000 investment, Luso Leather Crafts -- a community-run business in Zomba, Malawi -- will co-invest $1,600 to train young adults in shoemaking skills. The funds will also procure two modern cylinder-bed, shoe-stitching machines to produce approximately 3,000 pairs of shoes per year. By combining vocational training with local footwear production, the project will strengthen economic security, create employment opportunities, and improve community access to durable, affordable footwear for both children and adults.
