Project Launch: 10-1-19
Karonga Women Rice Cooperative (KAWORIC), established in 2016, has plans to launch a productive, sustainable rice business. The Sustainable Livelihood and Income Generation Rice Project will train 25 KAWORIC members in cooperative literacy and management which is key for the growth and sustenance of the cooperative. Participants plan to allocate their profits toward supporting girls' education.
