Tawoloka
Project Launch: 1-12-22
Using $5,274.07 Mweta Katemba, a YALI Mandela Washington Fellowship alumni and Myang’anira Village Development Committee will facilitate the drilling and installation of a borehole in the community. The new water point will reduce use of unprotected water sources hence reducing cases of waterborne diseases as well as reducing the time women spend fetching water so they focus on other activities. While the community has over 5,222 people, this water point will be used by over 1,000 people from the village representing 180 households.
