Project Launch:
A $494 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids program provided new equipment to the Big Falls RC School Boys Football team. Previously many students borrowed equipment from other boys, and found that footwear was either too large or too small. If students did not borrow footwear, they simply went without, giving them a serious disadvantage when playing against teams who were fully equipped as well as increasing risk of injury. This grant not only provided a safer experience for the team, but also improved their morale.
