Fann Hospital Garden Project
Project Launch: 8-11-16
This project will provide gardening materials and training and for hospital staff who oversee the Fann Hospital garden, which produces nutritious fruits and vegetables for patients in the infectious disease ward. Over the last twelve years the garden has grown, but without extensive gardening knowledge themselves, hospital staff relies on local community members to manage the space. As a result of this project, hospital staff will be trained to oversee the garden and plan for its sustained growth, focusing on techniques such as hydroponics and nursery beds.
