Future Leaders of San Antonio
Project Launch:
The rural health center in San Antonio Bajo, Peru will transform its girls group into formal peer educators focused on mental and physical health. The group will conduct three months of training in self-esteem, assertive communication, community service, friendship, relationship violence, teen pregnancy, STD's and HIV/AIDS. Following the training, the peer educators will work in the community and schools to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles to kids.
