This community organization plans to utilize technology to emplower unemployed women in Surulere with income-generating skills over a 6 month period. They will equip 45 women with skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, digital marketing, branding, web development, and graphic design. The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) will give beneficiaries access to start up capital loans. Last year, 60 women were trained, and 34 successfully applied for and received seed funding. The community organization has developed relationships with three companies to provide internships and jobs for the trained participants.
