After many hours of hard work from both the girls and coaches, the team had an excellent season! They spent time training, refining skills, and having fun. During the final tournament of the season the girls placed second. They played an intense game and walked away feeling happy that they had worked so hard. The team members and coaches grew close and worked well together. By the end of the season the girls where excellent team members and understood the importance of working together.  The Big Falls RC school Girls Soccer team won the Belize National Championship, they are a talented group of dedicated girls who love to run, play soccer, and have fun. However, they are in need of new equipment if they want to continue their successful team.

As of now the girls do not have the footwear or soccer balls to continue their practices. However, the Kids to Kids grant is going to allow the girls to purchase cleats and have efficient and beneficial work outs. They will also purchase new team T-shirts that will foster team spirit and team work. With the introduction of 8 new young team members, the team needs the right equipment in order for the new girls to be able to learn basic skills and participate in the team tournaments. The equipment will increase team work, sportsmanship, and fun for the girls of the Big Falls RC soccer team.
