Many children in the community of Portezuelo, Dominican Republic must work in the fields as young as age eight, due to the lack of employment opportunity for adults. To help maintain youth attention and interest in education, World Connect’s Kids to Kids program awarded $500 to provide teachers with alternative educational methods to reignite interest in kids that have left school and are at-risk of losing interest.Explore other Projects
