Fash4Dev
Project Launch: 12-29-20
Fash4Dev, short for Fashion for Development, is an initiative to empower vulnerable women and out of school children with fashion and entrepreneurship skills. In Ibadan Southwest, 30 young women with little to no formal education will learn about sewing tools and techniques, and upon completion of training, will recieve a loan in the form of a sewing machine and sewing tools to start their own small-scale fashion business. The women will receive follow-up guidance to support them in building their new business. By arming women with knowledge and applicable skills, Fash4Dev will empower women to be financially stable and independent. They will build confidence in their decision-making and leadership as business women in their community.
