The high school Rurenge village has a student-run business club that provides students with training on accounting, basic business skills, and entrepreneurship. This project will provide start up capital for graduating students to open a storefront in the central part of town to sell tea, bread and beans. The store will employ recent graduates, with the support of the school’s staff, providing them with practical experience in managing and expanding a local business.
