Country: El Salvador
Project Status: Funded
Impact Sector: Education
Project Investment: $32.00
Project Launch:
A $32 grant was awarded by World Connect’s Kids to Kids program for the La Ventana al Mundo project in El Salvador to support a week of culture for kids in the community. Kids painted a map of the world, prepared reports about other countries and presented them to their community, the kids learned about world culture, languages and religions, and held an Olympics with kids as representatives from different countries. The map that they painted is so striking that it has become a conversation piece for kids and even the adults, who walk by and stare at the map and ask questions about the world.Explore other Projects
