Year: 2010
Country: Belize
Project Status: Funded
Impact Sector: Education
Project Investment: $491.00
Project Launch:
A $490 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids Program supported the expansion of sports activities to include girls at San Vicente RC School in Belize. Sports like soccer teach teamwork skills and give participants an opportunity to travel to places outside of their regular environment and open their minds to other communities. The kids in San Vicente learned new sports every day such as American football and softball and brought these newfound interests and skills back to their community.Explore other Projects
