Project Launch:

The Santa Cruz Youth Sports Program provides social support to youth involved in this Belize sports program and a $495 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids Program in 2009 enabled the program to reach out to attract new participants. Funding also supported the purchase of essential equipment, program implementation, and organizational infrastructure development so that the sports program could achieve financial independence. The program is now sustaining their sports activities by hosting sports tournaments, contests and camps.
