Project Launch: 7-23-19

The Sareh Wuring School Management Committee (SMC) will build a two-classroom school to accommodate the 104 children that are currently attending classes in temporary school structures made of a palm-leaf roof, sticks, and leaves. The grant will also supply building materials for benches, which the senior high school students will make in their carpentry class. In addition, the community will build latrines for students and faculty on the campus. The school in its current form hosts three grade levels and this new structure would allow them to expand to a fourth. Once the infrastructure is built, the government will fund an additional teacher for the school. This new school facility will positively impact the learning environment for students and teachers, improving the quality of education and academic performance.
