Support to Cyclone Freddy Victims in Chikwawa district
Project Launch: 4-26-23
Arise Youth Organization (AYO) from Chikwawa district in the Southern Region of Malawi will provide relief items such as maize and/or maize flour, kitchen utensils, blankets, mats, school learning materials and menstrual sanitary pads to individuals from Sekeni 2, Allan and Chimatiro communities. Additionally, the project will support roofing of their houses to aid relocation. The project will also aid in spearheading the survivor’s recovery plans by providing them with roofing materials and farm inputs such as panga knives, hoes, water canes, vegetable and maize seeds and fertilizers to enable them partake in winter cropping.
