Leadership development for Agaseke cooperatives
Project Launch: 1-4-22
This project will focus on three women's basket-weaving cooperatives in Gasabo District, Kigali that have been identified as needing extra support to improve on either their production, sales, leadership, and/or cohesion. The three cooperatives are part of a large handcraft cooperative association, which was established to incorporate women in Kigali who were previously working in the informal economy into the formal economy. The project will provide training for the cooperatives on leadership, confidence, business and cooperative dynamics.
